  • Tularcitos Summer Reading Challenge
While school is out for the summer, in addition to playing, one of the best things you can do is READ.
We are asking students to document the number of minutes they read each day this summer.  Our goal is that students will read or be read to at least 700 minutes. That comes to 15 minutes 5 days a week.  Completed calendars with a parent signature need to be turned into your teacher next year by Friday, August 14, 2015.  All students who meet the challenge will be treated to a brunch to celebrate their accomplishment.

  • CUSD and Rotary

Thanks to a special partnership between the Carmel Unified School District and the Rotary Club of Carmel Valley, elementary school and middle school students are learning first hand about the work of many local charities and non-profits and how to help them financially.
